Aider Adapter

Aider does not support MCP natively today, so FORG injects a managed context block into ~/AGENTS.mdso Aider sessions are still attributed correctly.

Install

forg connect aider

How it works

FORG updates ~/AGENTS.md with the context Aider needs to identify the session and route metadata into FORG. For full signal tracking, also run forg on in the terminal before starting Aider.

Verification

FORG_KEYSTORE=file:// forg status
# Then restart your terminal/Aider flow and begin a new pair-programming session.
