Cline Adapter

The Cline adapter registers FORG in Cline's MCP settings so agent sessions, tool calls, model usage, and session boundaries are tracked automatically inside VS Code.

Install

forg connect cline

How it works

FORG writes a managed MCP server entry backed by npx -y forg-mcp@latest into ~/.cline/cline_mcp_settings.json. Restart VS Code or Cline after connecting so the new MCP server is discovered.

Verification

FORG_KEYSTORE=file:// forg status
# Then restart VS Code / Cline and open a fresh Cline session.
